Apply to be an AB Experience Leader by April 7th!

AB Experience Leaders are undergraduate students that serve as the chief coordinators for Alternative Break experiences. They plan and oversee experience logistics, facilitate peer learning around social justice issues, develop educational and orientation curriculum for participants, lead team activities and reflections, and serve as the main contact for their individual AB experience.
All Experience Leaders commit to and serve in this role for one complete year (from May 2019 until May 2020). The AB Experience Leader role is a valuable and unique leadership, personal, and professional development experience for undergraduate students.   1. If you are one of the braver homeowners wanting to get their hands dirty and take a shot at removing trees or tree limbs yourself, think again. Being in the tree service industry for many years, we have seen serious injuries and damages as a result these attempts.

  2. Did you know that you may possibly have rotting branches that are at risk of falling at any given time? Imagine on a windy day , unnoticed dead branches unexpectedly fell on your home causing damage, or worse, fell on a loved one causing serious injury or death! Or perhaps you have trees dangerously close to your home or electrical lines that risk damaging your homes foundation or causing a blackout.

  3. The health of the root system of your tree is absolutely vital to its survival. If you notice roots are significantly damaged, or even decaying, we recommend calling an arborist right away to take a closer look.
