AREC 361 is a 3-credit short-term study abroad course to Liberia starting this summer. Students have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on, technical experience implementing agricultural extension activities for a local farming community in Ganta, Liberia, in partnership with the Liberia International Christian College.
Tentative dates are May 26-June 5, 2020. Because this trip is through Education Abroad, students are eligible for financial assistance and select scholarship opportunities. Students can apply for the program through the website link: https://globalmaryland.umd.
