Can you communicate the significance of your research project in just three minutes? The University of Maryland Graduate School invites graduate students from all disciplines to compete in the 2021 Three-Minute Thesis Competition (3MT®).
The Three-Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition provides a unique opportunity for graduate students to demonstrate their ability to effectively explain their research to a general audience in an engaging and interesting manner.
The competition takes place in two rounds. The College-level competition occurs in early March. The top four students will advance to the Campus-level competition that occurs in April. You may win prizes and become famous! You will definitely hone your ability to describe your research in a compelling way - a skill that will serve you well for your whole career.
