Longwood's 2023 College and University Horticulture Internship Program

 

Looking to help your students grow their horticulture experience and further their careers? Longwood’s College and University Internship Program offers excellent opportunities to gain practical experience, learn career skills, and study (and live!) in one of the world’s best display gardens. Open to current college students as well as individuals who have graduated within the past year, our program includes free furnished housing on the Longwood grounds, a taxable hourly wage, medical insurance, and other benefits. The program features a variety of horticulture internship areas, with most spanning a year-long experience from early June 2023 to early May 2024.  Year-long horticulture internship areas include: Arboriculture Conservation Horticulture Conservatory Display Display Design Greenhouse Production (year-long and nine-week summer internship opportunities available) Integrated Pest Management Land Stewardship & Ecology Outdoor Landscapes (year-long and nine-week summer internship opportunities available) Woody Nursery Production
