Federal Careers for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Students

 I wanted to share an upcoming opportunity that your students may be interested in: Federal Careers for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Students, hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Region for the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders with support from UMD's Asian American Studies Program.


The event will be next Friday, April 19th, from 12:00 PM to 2:15 PM in ESJ 2204. After welcoming remarks, we will have a panel of federal employees describing their path to federal service from 12:20pm to 12:50pm, followed by at least 8 federal agencies providing resources on applications, internships, and strategies for college students from 1:15pm to 2:15pm. There will also be an interactive activity to elicit feedback from AANHPI college students about their experience.
