AGNR Education Abroad Peer Mentor Position

 Position SummaryThe College of Agriculture & Natural Resources in partnership with Education Abroad seeks an enthusiastic and adaptable student to serve as a peer mentor.

The peer mentor primarily supports outreach efforts to promote study abroad to students in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (AGNR). The peer mentor will play a critical role in connecting students to resources that generate excitement about study abroad and assist them with identifying program options and applications. Peer mentors staff EA outreach events (i.e. tabling, class visits) and deliver high-quality presentations focused on helping each audience member follow up on a clear call to action towards study abroad. 

 

This is a part-time position, 8-10 hours per week from late August 2024 - December 2024, with possible extensions for winter break and/or the spring 2025 semester.  

 

Compensation: $15.00 per hour
