The Environmental Career & Internship Fair connects students with employers looking to hire for full-time and part-time jobs and internships in the fields of environmental policy, communication, and research, GIS, conservation, and sustainability. 


This event is open to all UMD students and alumni! Let us know you’re coming by registering on Handshake to receive event updates and review the employers who are participating.

Join us on a Career Shuttle to Eurofins! This will be an in-person event; we will travel together by bus to the Eurofins campus in Easton, MD. 


Eurofins is a contract research site with labs addressing analytical chemistry, aquatic ecotoxicology, terrestrial ecotoxicology, environmental fate, and product chemistry. Learn more on their website!


During our visit, we will take a tour of the labs, meet with professionals in varied levels and fields, and learn about internship and career opportunities with Eurofins.

Is Grad School in Your Future? (Entomology, Ecology, Biology, Life Sciences)

 


Are you interested in applying to graduate school in Entomology, Ecology, or a related field in the Life Sciences? Do you have questions about how to apply, or if graduate school is even the right decision for you? The Entomology Student Organization (ESO) is hosting a seminar on Thursday September 22, 3-5pm in the Biosciences Research Building 1103. It will be led by an expert panel featuring Dr. Leslie Pick (Professor & Entomology Department Chair), Dr. Jeff Shultz (Assoc. Professor & director of graduate studies in Entomology), Dr. Karen Carleton (Professor in Biology Department), and Dr. Kelly Hamby (Assoc. Professor in Entomology).
