Maryland Stream Restoration Association Student Interest Meeting



On November 13th, 5:30-6:30 PM in ANSC 0422 an introductory interest meeting for students interested in the stream restoration industry as a precursor to the Maryland Stream Restoration Association's official Career Fair and Seminar will be hosted. 
Students will learn about stream restoration, why it's relevant to Maryland, and what agencies/firms play a role in the industry. This is a great opportunity to explore potential career paths without committing to the full seminar that occurs in the spring

The Department of Natural Resources leads Maryland in securing a sustainable future for our environment, society, and economy by preserving, protecting, restoring, and enhancing the State’s natural resources. Speak with representatives from 10 different DNR units to learn about what they do and the types of positions they are hiring for.


What you can expect:

  • Ample time to ask your specific questions 

  • A comprehensive look at the many different areas covered by DNR

  • Free food!!


As an added bonus, DNR will be hosting on-campus interviews on Wednesday, October 18, in the University Career Center. You can see what positions they’re hiring for and apply for an interview slot through Handshake: search for open Department of Natural Resources positions under the Jobs tab, then use the Interviewing on campus filter under All Filters.

Join us on a Career Shuttle to Eurofins! This will be an in-person event; we will travel together by bus to the Eurofins campus in Easton, MD. 


Eurofins is a contract research site with labs addressing analytical chemistry, aquatic ecotoxicology, terrestrial ecotoxicology, environmental fate, and product chemistry. Learn more on their website!


During our visit, we will take a tour of the labs, meet with professionals in varied levels and fields, and learn about internship and career opportunities with Eurofins.

Part-time and full-time positions are available. CCBC Dundalk Campus address is 7200 Sollers Point Road, Baltimore MD 21222.  Visitors should find parking spaces with white stripes in Lot 1, 2, 3 and 4 and them walk over to the College Community Center.
