Save the Date to Volunteer!
The American Public Gardens Association’s Annual Conference is coming to Washington, D.C. on June 17-21, 2019 and we need your help!
We want to welcome conference attendees to D.C. and help them navigate the city and conference hotel with your assistance as:
- Hospitality Table Attendants
- Wayfinding Assistance at the Hotel
- Bus Captains
- Room Monitors
- And more!
Sessions will be held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, 2500 Calvert St. NW, Washington D.C. Tours and events will be held at gardens throughout the greater DMV area. Volunteer shifts start on Sunday, June 16, 2019 and continue through the week.
As a thank you for your time, you can attend conference sessions for free on the day you volunteer, and you get a free t-shirt!
Online registration will open in March for volunteer shifts, so stay tuned for further details and mark your calendars. Whether you can volunteer for a few hours or a whole day, we hope to see you there!
