Can you convey the significance of your thesis in 3 minutes???
If so, you may win prizes and fame in the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition.
The first-round is a multi-college competition that will be held on March 11. This round can yield up to 4 winners (2 post-doctoral and 2 pre-doctoral or masters) who will receive a cash prize and advance to the Graduate School's Final Round to be held on April 3.
Three winners will emerge from that competition. Each of these campus-level winners will receive a $500 award, professional production of their 3MT video, and may be selected as a university nominee for other 3MT competitions outside of College Park.
The 3MT webpage provides more information, lots of suggestions for how do to a 3MT presentation, sources for help, and a link to the registration form.
