Careers in Food Safety 3-13-19

The University Career Center invites you to attend Careers in Food Safety on Wednesday, March 13 at 5 p.m.

The CDC estimates that each year, one in six Americans will contract a foodborne illness, which has public health and economic implications. Through careers in research, product development, quality control, and regulations, food safety professionals use knowledge in food science, microbiology, chemistry, and other STEM disciples to help to reduce and mitigate the risk of pathogens affecting our global food supply.
Join the University Career Center for this career panel, where students will learn about career paths within food safety from employers and alumni. Students will also have the opportunity to network with panelists and learn about potential internship or job opportunities.

Students from ALL MAJORS are welcomed to attend.
