The students of INAG248 Topics in Sustainable Agriculture invite you to donate to the UMD Campus Pantry to help supplement food insecure students, faculty, and staff. The class was inspired to organize the food drive after learning about campus food insecurity from Dr. Yu-Wei Wang during the Sustainable Agriculture Tuesdays lecture series.
Donations will be collected for three weeks - from April 22 through May 13 - at the following campus locations:
- Jull Hall (second floor - IAA main office)
- Plant Sciences building (second floor - main lobby)
- Animal Sciences building (first floor, mail room)
- Symons Hall (first floor, main lobby)
- Ag Engineering building (glass foyer of main entrance)
- The Chapel
Food/Items Most Needed:
Peanut butter, jelly, dried pasta, cereal, shelf stable milk or milk alternatives, marinara sauce, all types of canned beans and vegetables, fruit in water, fruit juice, and women’s hygiene products.
