About Us
Richardson Farms is a fifth-generation family farm located in White Marsh, Maryland. We have a personal commitment to providing your family with the best tasting, freshest locally grown produce and products available. In 1984, Barbara and Bill Richardson took the helm, with their six children, and expanded the farm by purchasing two nearby farms, and renting land from several others. Today, there are four generations of the family involved in the day to day operations. In 2010, the new Farm Market opened. Our family looks forward to serving your family for years to come.
Internship Opportunity
We are currently searching for a summer intern to work both in our market and our production greenhouses on our farm in White Marsh this summer. Day to day duties would include helping customers, watering, filling greenhouses, maintaining plants, and many other basic greenhouse care activities. This position is opened to all AGNR majors.
There will be many opportunities to shadow different employees in farm production, greenhouse production, market management, marketing, and general small business management.
This is a paid position (~$10.50 per hour) and will be seasonal. Start dates will be discussed but can begin before the end of the school year and will last until August.
