Hog Haven Farmers Market Part Time Job

Hog Haven is a pasture-raised, heritage hog farm in western Goochland County, VA, who sells pork by the pound and hot food featuring the pork they raise. They are looking for help at farmers' market booths all around the DMV on weekend mornings. Help them sell local food that is better for the environment, better for the animals, and tastes better! Hog Haven needs both cooks and 'front booth' sales people. Preferably those who are comfortable with both.

This a part-time weekend job, 5 to 15 hours a week. Some markets start as early as 7am, rain or shine! Pay is based on an hourly rate, with opportunity for tips and bonuses. Reliable transportation required. A larger vehicle and a willingness to transport supplies to the market occasionally is not an absolute necessity, but is a major plus.

Note, that there is some training required and we are looking for applicants that are looking for a long-term, part-time position (at least through one market season).
