Bill McKibben, climate activist, author, and founder of 350.org, will offer the opening remarks to a powerful keynote panel from leaders on the forefront of the climate fight in Maryland and Washington DC.

Panelists:

• Chris Hoagland, Climate Change Program Director, Maryland Department of the Environment
• Emily Frias, Maryland Grassroots Organizer, Chesapeake Climate Action Network
• Dr. Nate Hultman, Director, Center for Global Sustainability
• Moderated by Candela Cerpa, SGA Director of Sustainability SSC at UMD UMD SGA's Sustainability Committee

Participants will then break out into smaller group discussions on topics including innovation, climate finance, and environmental justice. Stick around to unwind with a musical performance by Joe Garner.
