Lallemand Animal Nutrition, North America, is proud to announce for the fifth year, that it will provide the Lallemand Forward scholarship to help support future generations of animal agriculture.
Two, $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to fulltime undergraduate students in the United States, Mexico or Canada pursuing a degree in an agricultural field.
Undergraduate Guidelines:
- Must be a full-time student, pursuing a four-year degree in an agricultural program, including, but not limited to: Animal Science, Agribusiness, Crop Science, Livestock Management, Dairy Science, Ag Education, Agriculture Marketing, etc.
- Must have a minimum of 60 credit hours (junior status)
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (must provide official or unofficial transcripts)
- Must complete and submit Lallemand Forward Scholarship application
- All applications must be submitted in English
- Must submit a 300 to 500 word essay answering ONE of the following questions: Essays will be assessed on grammar, creativity, originality and addressing the question completely.
- Explain what you think is the importance of agriculture in today’s society.
- Name one issue facing the production agriculture industry today and explain it’s effect on the industry.
- What do you believe are the most significant changes agriculture producers must make in the next 5 years and why?
