Daily tasks in the retail store include refilling stock (must be able to lift 50 lbs), taking orders from customers in person and over the phone, using a cash register and putting together daily orders for our wholesale customers. Seasonal and yearly tasks include preparing all our seed for sale in the upcoming year & taking inventory.
We service many growers, from backyard hobbyists to farmers, in the business of selling seed - select vegetable, flower, grass and wildlife feeding. Meyer Seed offers hand tools, herbicides, pesticides and fungicides, along with knowledge of mechanical practices to keep crops healthy throughout the growing season. We will need applicants that are ready and willing to assist any and all customers in making choices between seed varieties, fertilizers, industry products, etc.
As you might guess we are looking for someone with an upbeat work ethic, positive outlook and knowledge gained from relevant experience.
