Apply for the Dean's Student Advisory Council

The AGNR Dean's Student Advisory Council is happy to announce that they are currently accepting applications for new members!

The Council serves as a forum, bringing together students, staff, faculty, and alumni of the College of AGNR. This council will assist in the communication of departmental and college-wide policies, hear student concerns, and advocate on students' behalf when necessary. In doing so, members of the Council will have the opportunity to meet with College administrators including the Dean of the College as well as the Assistant and Associate Deans of AGNR Academic Programs. Members of the Council can expect to gain significant leadership skills while serving and leave their mark on the College of AGNR.

To those interested in applying, please note that only the following positions are open and you must be a student within that major/program in order to apply:

• 2+2 Program
• AGNR Peer Mentor
• AGNR Ambassador
• ANSC
• NFSC (NUTR, FDSC, DIET)
• PSLA (AGST, LARC, PLSC)

In order to be eligible, this cannot be your first semester as a student of UMD/AGNR and you must meet the minimum GPA requirement for membership (2.5). If you are interested in applying, please complete the application here: https://forms.gle/RPbR5HvFMKtkvbGf6
