The City of Gaithersburg Department of Public Works, Stormwater Division, is accepting applications for a Stormwater Project Manager to plan, manage, coordinate, monitor, and inspect the progress of a variety of public stormwater management projects from plan conception through post completion.
The successful candidate will have construction experience with stormwater facilities and restorations, as well as proven skills in the review and approval of all aspects of stormwater management and erosion control plans in accordance with the Maryland Stormwater Design Manual. They are looking for a self-motivated and action-oriented individual with a strong deadline-driven results and deliverables focus, who has the demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, to develop and manage project scheduling and budgets, and perform site inspections and effectively conduct negotiations with current and prospective consultants. You'll be joining an innovative and collaborative team committed to having a direct and meaningful impact on protecting and enhancing the City's environmental resources.
