UMD MANRRS is very excited to continue our mission to promote academic and professional advancement by empowering all students in agriculture, natural resources, and related sciences.
MANRRS is a national society that welcomes membership of people from diverse backgrounds and experiences to participate in agricultural and related science careers. Our members engage in chapter activities, regional events, and the organization’s annual national conference. This conference helps students to develop partnerships with agriculture and natural resources professionals within academia, government agencies, and private industry. MANRRS establishes partnerships by promoting professional development, networking, and career placement in a nurturing environment.

Our executive board has planned some exciting events for this semester, including guest speakers from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal, Plant, Health Inspection Services, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the World Wildlife Fund. Our meetings will be held virtually via Zoom on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4-5 pm EST.
