Exciting opportunity to help establish a hard cidery in Montgomery County.
We are a cidery that has been open for two years. We have a small apple orchard right now and are
looking to expand and plant a 25 acre orchard to go along with a new tasting room. We are looking for
an orchard manager. The ideal candidate would have a good understanding of orchard planning and
management, and would be willing to learn others skills in cider production and maintenance.
Your initial responsibility will be working hand in hand with the cidermaker to choose the best suited
apple trees and design the orchard. You would then be in charge of implementing your design and
maintaining the orchard. During the slower times of the year, your help will be needed on the
production and maintenance side of the company.
This is a full time, salaried position starting at $40,000 a year. Any training or licenses required will be
paid for by the cidery.
