Greenstone Fields is looking for part-time help on the farm for their last year of production. Position starts ASAP. One more person is needed to join the team of farmer Barbara, plus 1 full-time employee and 2 other part-time employees.
Duties of the job include weeding, bed preparation (including moving landscape fabric), planting, bucket washing, flower harvesting and occasional overall farm organizing tasks. Hours are roughly 16 hours per week over 3-4 mornings per week.
The ideal candidate is hard-working, detail oriented, not afraid to ask questions or receive constructive feedback, and a good team player. Candidates must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Farm or garden experience is a plus but not required.
Pay starts at $12 per hour. Other perks of the job are working outdoors, free "take home" flowers, dog snuggles and learning about flower farming from the area's highest quality flower farmer before she retires!
