MASTMA Scholarship Turf Management

The MASTMA Scholarship is a financial grant awarded annually to a student pursuing a degree in the science of turfgrass and an eventual career in sports turf management. The goal is to provide financial support to students, which will in turn, support the future of the Sports Turf industry. Qualifications: • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university within DC, DE, MD, and Northern VA • Must have completed a majority of the degree credits • Must demonstrate an interest in Sports Turf Management Applications Requirements: • Must be received by December 31, 2022 • Applications must be summited online or emailed in PDF format to MASTMA.info@gmail.com Application must include: - Name - Address - Phone Number - Email Address - College/University - Major - Letter of recommendation from a faculty member - Transcripts (unofficial will be accepted) - Statement of interest in Sports Turf Management and why the scholarship should be awarded to the candidate (this should be presented in an essay format) Additional Details: • Scholarship amount is $1,000 • Recipient will be notified by February 1, 2023 • Scholarship will be presented at the MASTMA Spring Education Event • Recipient will be selected by the MASTMA Scholarship Committee and Board of Directors • Email questions to MASTMA.info@gmail.com View the complete announcement here: https://mastma.org/announcements.php?id=103
