Longwood Gardens’ 2023 College and University Internship Program

Help your students grow their horticulture experience and further their careers! Please share with them that Longwood’s 2023 College and University Internship Program is now accepting applications, with an application deadline of February 3.  Open to current college students as well as individuals who have graduated within the past year, our program includes free furnished housing on the Longwood grounds, a taxable hourly wage, medical insurance, and other benefits. Our interns enjoy excellent opportunities to gain practical experience, learn career skills, and study (and live!) in one of the world’s best display gardens.   The program features a variety of horticulture internship areas, with most spanning a year-long experience from early June 2023 to early May 2024.  Year-long horticulture internship areas include: Arboriculture Conservation Horticulture Conservatory Display Display Design Greenhouse Production (nine-week summer internship opportunities also available) Integrated Pest Management Land Stewardship & Ecology Outdoor Landscapes (nine-week summer internship opportunities also available) Woody Nursery Production
