AGNR is proud to announce the kickoff of MomentUMD Live: AGNR Conversations Around Grand Challenges, held in partnership with our strategic initiative, One Health: Improve Human, Animal, and Environmental Health. Registration is now open for our debut event taking place on Thursday, November 30 from 10am - noon in the Stamp Student Union.
The dean's first guest is Dr. George Atkinson, Founder and Executive Director of the Institute on Science for Global Policy and former Science and Technology Adviser to Secretaries Colin Powell and Condoleeza Rice. Rather than a lecture, this event will feature a lively Q&A driven by Dean Beyrouty, with plenty of opportunities for participation from the audience. This installment will feature a dialogue on international development through solutions related to agriculture and natural resources. Following the Q&A period, we'll host a reception with heavy hors d'oeuvres.
This event is open to the public, so we encourage you to share info with your audiences. Please use our square graphic for email and social by clicking and downloading the image above.
This new event series is intended to showcase our strategic initiatives on a year round basis as we ultimately welcome thought leaders from all five areas on a rotating basis.
Thank you for helping us spread the word and please make sure to register!
