Burnt Hill Farm is a 117-acre animal-integrated polyculture farm overlooking Sugarloaf Mountain in Clarksburg, with the aspirational goal of becoming America’s most delicious farm.
We’re seeking a farm manager or farming partner who is passionate and experienced, with a deep appreciation for approaching the farm organism from both ecological and culinary perspectives.
We currently cultivate 50,000 grapevines regeneratively within a vibrant, diverse farm ecosystem. Our organic heritage grains—like the Turkey Red Winter Wheat we’re planting tomorrow—are milled onsite with a Vermont-made limestone mill, creating fresh, nutritious flour for bread, pasta, dumplings, and pizza dough. We also raise honeybees, log-grown mushrooms, woodland hogs, pastured sheep and chickens, a small orchard, and a soon-to-be-expanding organic kitchen garden, making it a true polyculture system.
