Clyopatra Winery & Vineyard Internship

 Internship opportunities for students interested in viticulture and vineyard management at Clyopatra Winery & Vineyard in Prince George’s County.

As we continue to expand our vineyard operations, we are seeking passionate and motivated interns who are eager to gain hands-on experience in vineyard management. Below is the job description for the internship:

Vineyard Internship – Clyopatra Winery & Vineyard

Location: Laurel, MD (Prince George’s County)

Duration: Seasonal (Spring, Summer, and Fall Sessions Available)

Hours: Flexible (Part-time or Full-time options)

Internship Overview:

This internship provides hands-on experience in vineyard management, from planting to harvesting, and offers insight into sustainable viticulture practices. Interns will work closely with our vineyard team and gain practical knowledge about grapevine care, disease management, soil health, and the overall vineyard cycle.

Responsibilities:

 Assist in vineyard maintenance, including pruning, canopy management, and weed control.

 Monitor vine health and learn disease/pest identification and management techniques.

 Participate in soil preparation, irrigation, and fertilization processes.

 Support with harvest activities, grape sorting, and quality control.

 Learn about vineyard sustainability and organic farming practices.

 Assist in vineyard data collection and record-keeping.


Qualifications:

 Current students or recent graduates in viticulture, enology, agriculture, horticulture, or related fields preferred.

 Passion for sustainable agriculture and vineyard operations.

 Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

 Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
