Baltimore City Public Schools is currently recruiting FoodCorps Food Education Members for the 2025-2026 school year (August 11, 2025 - July 17, 2026). These members partner with elementary schools to engage students in hands-on food education and nourishing cafeteria projects—cooking demos, taste tests, gardening, and nutrition lessons.
In addition, Montgomery Public Schools is seeking their first ever FoodCorps School Nutrition Members. This person would work in school kitchens, cafeterias, and classrooms to procure and promote nourishing school meals.
We believe this opportunity is particularly valuable for students seeking experience in fields like nutrition, agriculture, public health or K-12 education. We’re reaching out to ask for your help in sharing this opportunity with students and colleagues who may be interested. We're especially looking for candidates with strong community connections.
Why join FoodCorps?
$33,000 stipend
AmeriCorps Segal Education Award, upon successful completion of your term. This is currently $7,395 and is contingent upon National Funding.
