SMADC Summer Internship

The Southern Maryland Agricultural Development Commission (SMADC) is now accepting applications for our Summer Internship Program! 🎉🌾

Are you a motivated college student pursuing a degree in agriculture, agricultural business, environmental science, or a related field? This is your chance to gain hands-on experience while contributing to a thriving regional food system!

Internship Highlights:
Duration: 12 weeks (May 21 - August 21, 2025)
Compensation: $20/hour, full-time
Location: SMADC offices, Hughesville, MD

What You'll Gain:
Practical experience in agricultural service operations
Skills in program planning, budgeting, and resource management
Networking opportunities with industry professionals and local farmers
Mentorship from SMADC staff and professional development workshops

Eligibility:
Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program
Strong interest in sustainable agriculture
Excellent communication skills
Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
