 Growing Gardens in Boulder, CO is hiring for multiple Environmental Education Positions on the farm for 2026!

Growing Gardens’ mission is to cultivate community through regenerative urban agriculture. Our programs empower people of all ages, income levels, and abilities by connecting them with their local food system, each other, and the environment.

Spring Season Environmental Education Intern

Dates: March 2nd - May 22nd

Job Status: Seasonal Intern, 15 hours per week

Compensation: Qualifies for credit at the university level and includes $400 upon completion

Summer Season Environmental Education Intern

Dates: May 11th - August 7th

Job Status: Seasonal Intern, 24 hours per week

Compensation: $1,870 stipend, qualifies for credit at the university level

Fall Season Environmental Education Intern

Dates: August 18th - October 30th

Job Status: Seasonal Intern, 15 hours per week

Compensation: Qualifies for credit at the university level, includes $400 upon completion and a weekly share of veggies from the farm

Summer Camp Educator

Required in person training: May 22nd 8:00-12:00 pm, May 25th - 29th, 8am-4pm. ($720 stipend) 

Summer Camp Schedule: Summer Camp is weekly June 1st - August 7th. (9 weeks total) There is no Summer Camp the week of June 29th - July 3rd. Staff will not work this week and are able to travel

Job Status: Full Time, Seasonal Summer Employee, Average 40 hours per week

Compensation: $800 per week of summer camps; training weeks will be prorated to reflect days worked.
