Spring 2026 Financial Benchmark Data Intern

Preferred Majors: Agricultural Economics or a combination of study related to Sustainable Agriculture, Finance, Economics, Business, Food Systems
Organization Overview: Pasa Sustainable Agriculture is a nonprofit that supports sustainable farms and equitable food systems through farmer-driven education, research, and community.
Our mission is to cultivate environmentally sound, economically viable, community-focused farms and food systems.
Position Overview: Are you passionate about sustainable agriculture, food systems, farm finance and business economics? We are seeking an intern to support our next round of data collection and analysis for this farm-based research project. The ideal intern is eager to work in a collaborative community science research setting and engage with organic and regenerative farmers, while doing independent work. The ideal candidate will have knowledge, experience, or coursework in sustainable agriculture, food systems, farm finance and business economics, and data analysis, including working with R. The intern will be an active member of Pasa’s research team for the duration of the internship program, and will have the opportunity to attend Pasa events and workshops of interest. The goal of the internship is to collect, organize, and analyze new and existing data from our Financial Benchmark Study which will support future farmer benchmark reports and public reports.
Compensation: Compensation is $18 per hour for approximately 150 hours, not to exceed a total $2,700. Interns are not eligible for benefits. This internship is remote, so a reliable internet connection is required.
