Common Good City Farm in Washington DC is looking for 2 creative and energetic individuals to join our LEAF after-school program team.
LEAF (Learning for the Environment, Agriculture, and Food) is a drop in youth program designed for elementary age students that live in the surrounding area of Common Good City Farm in LeDroit Park. The program offers hands-on learning including garden science, nutrition, working in our youth garden, making art for the farm and preparing recipes using fresh produce. The program takes place in our outdoor farm space.
The Youth Program Educators will primarily support program hours with setup, facilitation of class, youth engagement and cleanup with some weekly work in planning, outreach, data entry and advance preparations. https://www.
