We are currently recruiting student vendors for our semi-annual Terp Marketplace! Whether your students are selling physical products, marketing a service, or testing out an early prototype, this event gives them a platform to showcase their business directly to the UMD community.

Terp Marketplace is your chance to showcase your venture directly to UMD students, faculty, and staff! Whether you are selling products, marketing a service, or gathering user feedback on a prototype, this event is designed to help you make money, test your market, and build a customer base. Applications open Friday October 2nd!
Event Date: Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026
Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Location: The Atrium, Robert H. Smith School of Business (Van Munching Hall)
Vendor Fee: FREE (All majors welcome!)
Application Deadline: October 23rd
This year, attendees will Cast Their Vote for their favorite vendor. The winner will get an exclusive fast-track spot to showcase at Pitch Dingman Competition’s Idea Track!

Beyond sharing about events, we’d love to connect with your students directly this semester. A few ways we can collaborate:
Classroom Visits: We can drop by for a brief presentation introducing our entrepreneurial resources.
Attending Pitch Dingman Competition’s Idea Track showcase on Nov 18 or competing makes a great extra credit opportunity.
We also lead workshops on business development. Our most asked-for is the Pitch Perfect workshop, helping students bring out their best pitching skills.
1-on-1 Dingman Advising sessions, which is often included by faculty for a point of extra credit.
