Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation and instructing seasonal classes including but not limited to: embryology, STEM, Frederick County Fair.
- Assist with camping and environmental education program, trainings, and preparations. Oversee counselor and adult staff move-in which includes, but is not limited to: assigning sleeping arrangements; coordinating dinner for counselors and adult staff; preparing materials for each class. Ensure all camp policies and procedures.
- Cooperate with staff in enforcing safe camping procedures and guidelines referred to in the ACA handbook.
- Assist with data entry correlating to the 4-H animal science program for quality assurance and fair eligibility. Become familiar with events and 4-H rules and procedures, including 4-H, emergency procedures, ad 4-H Behavioral Expectations/Disciplinary Policy and Procedures and Volunteer Expectations.
- Cooperate with UME faculty, staff, and volunteers enforcing 4-H and event rules and procedures.
- Promote UME and 4-H at community and FCPS events.

Salary will commensurate with experience, with base salary of $34,075.00 per year. The position is a 12-month full-time contract that may be renewed annually, based on performance and funding.
