Terps Against Hunger: Families Fight Hunger Oct. 20th

Terps Against Hunger (TAH) is hosting its 4th annual Family Weekend community service event. The student organization will bring together over 400 volunteers to package 100,000 meals for hungry children and families in the DC Metro area. Let’s work together to provide food for those who need it most! The meals are packaged in an assembly line fashion, composed of four key ingredients: rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables, and vitamin and mineral powder. This service event is great for volunteers of all ages, so younger siblings and family members can participate. For middle school or high school students in need of service learning hours, TAH staff will sign verification forms at the event. The event will be held from 1-4pm this Sunday, October 20th, 2019.
