What is IPPS?
The International Plant
Propagators' Society (IPPS) is an international association of plant production
professionals. The Society provides a forum for sharing plant production
knowledge with the aim to improve the professionalism, knowledge and skills of its
members.
Why should I join?
Anyone interested in
plant propagation, production or the nursery industry will benefit from
connecting with IPPS. Members have access to Combined Proceedings of
our worldwide annual conferences - unlimited free downloads of
papers and propagation information from our past conferences - that's 67 years of
plant production information! Members also receive discounted registration at
IPPS events and a monthly electronic newsletter with regional events and
articles of interest.
Annual Conference
The annual conference is
a fantastic opportunity to network and build invaluable relationships with the
best in the plant production business from across the country. The four day
conference consists of behind-the-scenes-tours to local nurseries and botanic
gardens as well as an educational session of thought provoking talks by
industry experts and business professionals. A poster session, plant auctions
and time to socialize round out the event. This year’s conference
is September 23 – 26, 2020 in Hamilton, Ontario. Stay tuned for information on student conference
scholarships!
