Project Accountant Position at Aquatic Resource Restoration Company

Aquatic Resource Restoration Company (ARRC) specializes in providing turnkey design/build services for wetland mitigation, stream restoration, and storm water projects.

Reports To
The Project Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager, VP and Project Managers.

Job Overview
The Project Accountant will assist with all accounting and administrative duties related to each project. This key team member will be responsible for project invoicing, review job cost related items daily, subcontract/purchase order preparation and compliance tracking, and change order preparation. The Project Accountant will be supporting the Project Management Team and Accounting Manager to help ensure a profitable and successful project with timely completion.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Create monthly billings in coordination with Project Managers and ensure all accounts receivable are current on projects.
  • Reviews estimates uploaded to Viewpoint. Organizes Standard of Values (SOV) and costs per billing requirements and submits to Corporate Accountant for final approval.
  • Scan and enter subcontractor and vendor invoices approved by Project Managers.
  • Review material tickets and ensure accuracy of coding.
  • Track all subcontractor and material suppliers.
  • Process and submits weekly certified payrolls for Prevailing Wage to contractor.
  • Monthly analyzing of projects with Project Managers to prepare for financial closing.
  • Generates job cost analysis reports/progress reports to enter Job Cost Projection Adjustments and distributes to appropriate team members.
  • Enter Pending Change Orders/Change Orders into Viewpoint.
  • Enter Bonnair inventory to job cost entries.
