Join the University of Maryland School of Public Policy for the Summer Institute of Change — a free summer community-based experiential learning program for a new generation of public leadership. The program is focused on Prince George's County and will prepare you to enter the field of public policy, in the County and beyond.
This program is for sophomores and juniors at any of the three institutions: PGCC, Bowie State University, or the University of Maryland, College Park.
The virtual program will take place from June 1-July 9, 2021, and allow for students to learn about policy and governance from UMD faculty, while working with local government and nonprofit entities in PG County. This program tuition is free, with a small charge for fees. The application can be found here. Applications are due April 1, 2021.
