Cultured Kombucha is a woman-and minority-owned business operating in the Washington
D.C. Metropolitan area. We believe all communities should have access to and knowledge

of products that attracts minorities and lesser targeted populations to internal health and
wellness.

Cultured is seeking an energetic and passionate individual to join our team. This is a full
experience opportunity. The individual will assist in all aspects of Cultured’s operations.
The successful candidate will have a friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, an interest in
local food and sustainability issues, and will be living an active and healthy lifestyle. He or
she will be highly efficient and organized, be able to work independently, possess strong
communication skills, and will take full responsibility for his or her work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the kegging and bottling processes, making flavor infusions, and
  • performing other brewing support and cleaning tasks as needed
  • Drafting creative content for Cultured’s social media presence
  • Assisting with administrative duties such as email correspondence and vendor
  • relationships

As the individual grows within our organization, they will be tasked with training and
supervising additional Cultured team members and interns. In addition to working in-house
for Cultured, the individual will have the opportunity to participate in Cultured events such as
pop-ups, workshops, festivals, and presentations. Also, there will be opportunities for higher
degrees of responsibility according to the candidate's experience and aptitude.

Requirements are simple: passion, dedication and flexibility. This will be a part time role
with weekend hours. Approx. 6 – 8 hours/week with potential for increase up to 20 hours
per week.

  • Education or experience in food science, urban agriculture, culinary arts, or a
  • similarly related field strongly desired.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
