Our Pop-Up Food Hub (PUFH) is a nonprofit food hub and food distributor with two key missions: (1) to support small- and mid-sized local farmers in the Mid-Atlantic region - especially Black and Brown farmers - to connect with wholesale partners to grow their businesses and (2) to nourish our community, and especially those who struggle with food security, by providing them with fresh, locally grown produce at wholesale prices. Our team works closely with numerous community organizations that serve low-income families and individuals with a need for fresh fruits and vegetables. Since we source our produce from our farmers markets in DC, Maryland, & Virginia, we support our local farmers while bringing more fresh fruits & vegetables to our neighbors in need.

FRESHFARM’s nonprofit food hub is the first of its kind in the nation; as a food distributor, our team works to support small- and mid-sized local farmers while serving community members, especially low-income families and individuals with a need for fresh fruits and vegetables. Operations Associates are responsible for supporting the operations of the PUFH through fulfilling produce deliveries, receiving and packing orders, and maintaining and transporting equipment. This hands-on job is a great fit for independent problem solvers who are excited to collaborate and approach their work with efficiency and focus. Driver’s license and clean driving record required. PUFH Community Delivery Drivers (part-time; Hyattsville, MD)
Looking for a small job with a big impact? Apply to join our Pop-Up Food Hub (PUFH) team as a Community Delivery Driver (CDD) this season! FRESHFARM is seeking one CDD on Thursday afternoons to help distribute fresh produce. Our nonprofit food hub functions as a food distributor, supporting small- and mid-sized local farmers while serving community members, especially low-income families and individuals with a need for fresh fruits and vegetables.
